Q: How can I schedule an appointment?

Q: Do you accept walk-ins for Ultrasound?

A: Yes, we do accept walk-ins, but please note that certain exams may require preparation.

Q: What is the typical duration of appointments?

A: Most appointments last between 15 to 30 minutes.

Q: Do I need a requisition/referral to visit Midland Radiology & Ultrasound for my diagnostic imaging tests?

A: Yes, you will need a requisition/referral signed by your physician or midwife.

Q: Do you accept requisitions from other clinics?

A: Absolutely, we accept all signed and completed requisitions from your physician or midwife. Please ensure you bring a valid health card (OHIP).

Q: Do you cater to non-OHIP patients?ostic imaging tests?

A: Yes, we do. Kindly contact us for pricing details. We accept cash payments only, as well as Blue Cross and UHIP insurance.

Q: Is there complimentary parking available on site?

A: Yes, we offer ample free parking on-site..

Q: How quickly can I schedule an appointment at Radiant Medical Imaging?

A: We offer same-day appointments and are conveniently open from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, and 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays. Please note that we are closed on Sundays.

Q: When can I expect my results to be sent to my family doctor?

A: For general, non-urgent cases, reports are faxed within 2-3 business days. In urgent or emergency cases, a verbal report will be provided.

Q: Do you provide printouts for pregnancy scans?

A: Yes, we do provide print-outs.

Q: Can my friend or family member accompany me in the examination room during my test?

A: Unfortunately, only patients are allowed in the exam room. However, if assistance or translation is required, family members are encouraged to remain in the room with the patient

Q: Can my husband accompany me for my pregnancy scan?

A: Your husband will need to wait until the scan is completed. However, he will be called in for a brief 'show-and-tell' afterward.

Q: Can I receive my results immediately from the Technologist?

A: Technologists are not authorized to provide results. You will need to follow up with your referring doctor for your results.
